Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Syndicated account and the data that goes with it at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete from the app

1. Open Syndicated and go to the You tab
2. Open Settings, then choose Account
3. Tap Delete account and confirm

Your account and data are removed from our servers right away.

If you can no longer access the app

Email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm by reply.

Delete data without deleting your account

You do not have to close your account to remove things you have logged. Inside the app you can, at any time:

• Remove a show from your library, which drops its tracking data from your lists and progress
• Un-watch episodes, or use “Mark all unwatched” on a season, to delete logged viewings (including viewings imported from TV Time)
• Clear any rating or like
• Delete any review
• Delete any list you have made
• Remove your profile picture or change your display name

These take effect on our servers immediately. For anything you cannot remove with the controls above, email [email protected] and we will handle it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in identity with our authentication provider, Clerk (email address and credentials)
• Your profile (display name, username, and picture)
• Your library and watch history, including anything imported from TV Time
• Your ratings, likes, and reviews
• Your lists and favorites
• Your device push tokens and notification settings

All of it is deleted, none of it is recoverable, and nothing about your account is retained for marketing or resale. Standard technical records, such as server logs that may include your IP address, are kept only briefly for security and operations before they age out. See our Privacy Policy for details.
